The detail is amazing: tall wooden towers connected to each other by rigging, hand built wooden benches, rope crane, see through 3-D upper and lower deck, metal and wooden hand-rails on top deck, lower deck is surrounded with wooden hand-rails, window are crafted to see-through, single propeller, and many more exclusive ornaments. This beautiful model comes on an elegant painted wooden stand. To enhance its value and recognition, a golden metal plate engraved with “Earnslaw” is neatly glued to the stand. This model is completely hand built by skillful and creative master craftsmen; you will be amazed at how real it looks. Months of research goes into the planning of these model boats. Original plans and pictures are used for their design and realism. This wooden model boat is shipped to you fully assembled and ready to be displayed.

Brief History:
Relive the elegance of bygone days with a cruise aboard the vintage steamship TSS Earnslaw, one of the last remaining coal fired passenger carrying vessels operating in the southern hemisphere. Affectionately known as the “Lady of the Lake”, the TSS Earnslaw has a special place in the hearts of Queenstown people. She has been transporting goods to remote settlements and conveying passengers on beautiful Lake Wakatipu since 1912.
